Combest Family Funeral Homes Joins the Legacy Family

Legacy Funeral Group is honored to announce the acquisition of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory. Combest is comprised of three funeral homes in Lubbock, Tahoka and O’Donnell, Texas.

The Combest family has owned and operated the business for 60 years. Through these years, Combest has served generations of families by providing outstanding care and customer service.

I have personally known Kevin for 15 years and value and respect him not only as an operator, but as an individual. Our shared values, both personally and professionally, make this an ideal fit for our Legacy family.

Kevin has had offers through the years to sell the business. However, when he and his wife, Tonya, ultimately decided it was time to sell, he called me directly. Legacy Funeral Group was the only company he trusted to preserve, honor, and continue the legacy his family had built over the last 60 years.

Kevin will continue to be involved in the business he and his family created, and I am excited that long-time friend and associate, Rex Johnson, has agreed to become the new General Manager along with Bill Vallie, Sr., who will oversee this location as Regional Manager.
